{P H Y I S I C A L}

Build: Shetani has a rather bulky build for a female, with large paws. She is a fast runner, but not very agile. For a female, she has better than average strength, but her large paws cause her to be clumsy. She is a red cheetah with green eyes and many scars littering her body. She might have once been a pretty face before all of these scars.

Accessories: None, Shetani belives that wearing accessories will hinder her in battle and will slow her down. She refused bandages when she was younger for the same reason, and because she wanted the scars to show her strength.

Strengths:
Strength - For a female, Shetani is surprisingly strong. This is a trait she inherited from her father.

Excellent Actress - Shetani has a talent of making those around her fall for her lies and acts.

Intelligent - While others see her as cold and just doing whatever she wants to, she actually has reason for everything, and it becomes a lot more complicated than others realize.

Speed - Shetani is slightly above average in speed, though this fact she does not like to flaunt. She prefers fight over flight.

Weaknesses:
Clumsy - Shetani is surprisingly clumsy. She inherited big paws from her father, and is often found tripping over them if she is running too fast.

Prideful - If there is one thing Shetani will never do, its admit she's wrong. To her, pride means absolutely everything, and she would never give it up.

Fragile Mental State - Shetani is not the most stable of cheetahs, and can have moments of pure insanity, where she will rage at anything and anyone.

Holds Grudges - Shetani doesn't let go of things... ever. She will hold you responsible for cycles after the smallest of events even happened.

Predjudice against males - This one speaks for itself. and because of it, Shetani is more likely to show understanding towards females rather than males.

Cocky - Shetani often over estimates her abilities. She has yet to lose in a fight, but mistakes like this often lead to more and more injuries.

Extremely Jealous - Shetani is jealous of everything she doesn't have already. The leader position, someone to love, her own coalition.

Agility - This is once again thanks to her big paws. She may be able to run fast, but the moment she tries to turn a sharp turn, she's likely to fumble and fall.

 Two-Faced - Think you mean something to Shetani? Think again. This devilish she-cat will be ready to betray you in two seconds flat. One moment she may act kind towards you, and swear you a valuable cheetah, and the next, she'll rake her claws into your pelt and deem you worthless. She does not make many true connections. She can be kind to one cheetah, and another's worst nightmare.

Honorable - Despite many facts, Shetani is an honorable cheetah. She does not fight dirty, and considers herself an honorable fighter. She will not use dirty tricks. She will honor agreements she was made with others... most of the time. If she loses in battle, she will agree to the loser terms.
 
Unreliable - Shetani does not keep promises. If you ask her to do something, it is likely she will not. You cannot rely on her for anything, as she only looks out for herself.

Self-Reliant - Shetani has had her trust betrayed too many times. She now only relies and looks out for one cheetah... herself. Her reason for joining a coalition? To prove her own power and to help her and her survive. The only other cheetah who is in Shetani's circle of trust is Ali, and even she is starting to fall in graces.

Flirty - Though Shetani has an obvious dislike of males, she does not often show this, and is prone to flirting around. To her, the male mind is smaller, and so will automatically think she is interested. She likes to be in the favour of many males, because then it is less likely for them to be hostile towards her. And who knows, maybe they would even defend her if she needed it. It also helps her get what she wants.

Secretly Motherly - Though Shetani would never admit it, she's always wanted a family of her own. She holds a secret love for cubs and young cheetahs. She wants nothing more than to have a younger cheetah to take under her wing and train.


Brief History:

Emerald Eyes | Cubhood
Shetani started her life off with the name of Macho ya Zamaradi, or Maradi as her mother so fondly called her. She was born into a litter of 4, two twin brothers and a sister. Her family consisted of her, her siblings and her mother, for her father left them right before her mother gave birth. He was not one to mate for life, and left the moment he knew his 'powerful' genes had been passed on. This caused Maradi to have a great dislike of all males, excepting her brothers of course. Life was hard for the group, living the life of loners. It was difficult for their mother to provide for them, and they often went hungry. This helped toughen the cubs up fairly quickly, and they were ready to learn how to hunt before long.

Loners do not flock together | Adolesence
One blazing hot day, Maradi's mother took them out for their regular hunting lessons. She instructed them to hide in the bushes for an ambush while she chased down a gazell. Before her mother could even get in range, she was attacked and mauled by a lone hyena. She was starved and dehydrated, and so no match for the recently fed young male. In blind fury, Maradi and her siblings launched an attack against the beast that just killed their mother. This is where she gained her first scar, the claw marks across her tail. She bares these marks proudly, as they show her strength and survival skills.

As they grew older, the group began to grow obviously apart from each other. Maradi sided with her sister Hakuna Ali, while their twin brothers stuck together. Soon, the group had a fall out, and Maradi and Ali set out on thir own, away from their brothers. The two continued to travel together, gaining skills and growing stronger by the day. Something came between them however, a tom. Ali fell for this tom, and wanted to be with him. Maradi did not like him nor did she trust him, hating all males, and tried to talk her beloved sister out of it. Ali and Maradi had a fight then, and the two decided to split up once again, leaving Maradi on her own and Ali with the one she claimed to love.

Black Babukurs | Adulthood
Soon after she was left alone, Maradi found the coalition Black Babukur. She immediately asked to join, and was given the status of 'recruit'. She and a couple of other cheetas lived away from the main coalition, and continued to try and prove their worth until given member status. Maradi was determined to prove herself, and would do everything in her power to ensure that she did.

One afternoon, she was wandering the range when she was alerted to the sounds of thundering pawsteps, coming her way and quickly. She looked into the distance and saw the coalition Leader chasing another cheetah, one she recognized to be Ubatili. He'd had exile coming for just about ever, and it seemed Hodari had finally had enough. Realizing this was her chance, Maradi joined in the chase, following after Hodari as they tried to catch the tom. The two managed to corner him by a giant rock, and Hodari gave Maradi the task of killing off Ubatili. This would prove her worth, and allow her to become a member of his tribe. She fufilled his request, and after a long and hard battle, Ubatili was dead.

Hodari welcomed Maradi into the coalition, allowing her to choose a new name. This name, was Binti wa Shetani, Daughter of Satan. She chose this name partly because she loathed her father, and partly because she felt truly powerful, and as thought the Devil had given her strength and ruthlessness.

Goodbye always Hurts | Present
Shetani, now a full member of her coalition was as happy as ever. She felt powerful, and was surrounded by many cheetahs who felt the same. Her only issue was that she served a tom... but she was smart enough to not act hostile towards him, at least not until she was strong enough to take him on.

One day when she was patrolling the range of her own free will, she came across a badly injured Ali. She was missing one of her legs and was badly beaten up. Shetani immediately recognizing her sister came to her aid. Over the next while, Tani nursed Ali back to health, bringing her herbs and prey from the coalition. This could not last however, and one day she was discovered. She recieved punishment from Hodari, gaining the long scars across her nose, and was told to chase Ali out, or Hodari threatened to kill her. Not wanting that fate for her sister, Shetani caught a bit of prey for her and said her last goodbye, before telling Ali to leave the Black Babukur's range and not come back until she was stronger. It was a teary separation, but it had to be done... and Shetani regrets it to this day, not knowing what has become of her sister.

// Mchanga ( NinjaCheetah ) - He's an odd one, this little tom. He seems to be quite skittish, I'm not sure if that is in general or because of my size compared to him or perhaps I was a coalition cat. He's unbiased and skilled with medicine though, so I have to respect him if only slightly.
I cannot help but feel protective over this tom. I wish to become closer with him, I can only hope that he will eventually accept me as a companion... perhaps even as a friend if I am so lucky. I want to help him... and for once I don't want anything in return.
/ I don't know where these feelings are coming from. One moment I'm brining him food because he's feeling weak and the next... I'm staying the night at his cave because of the storm outside. We stayed close together for body warmth... and it was probably the most peaceful rest I've had in the longest time.
/ I had to rely on him once again after the battle. He saved my life and I will never be able to thank him enough. Mchanga is the sweetest cheetah I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He allowed me to pour my heart out to him and he did the same. We got to know each other, and I think he understands what I am going through better than I know myself. These feelings I have for him make me feel so guilty because of his previous mate Chozi... she may still be alive after all.
/ Only after Chozi came back did I realize how much I love this tom... but I know I can never have him, he belongs to another. As happy as Mchanga makes me, I will accept his love for Chozi and her love for him. I want him to be happy... and if he's happiest with Chozi then its my job to stand back and let them be together. It hurts a lot... but I want what's best for them, and I'm willing to put his own happiness before mine.

Black Babukur

/ Visuka ( kakister ) - He's a strange little cubby for sure. Ha. He hates when I call him that, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop. He often does a 180 in his behaviour though... I may have to further look into this tom.

/ Hodari ( CheeTree ) - Leader of my coalition, obviously I must respect this tom. He is a womanizer if I've ever seen one, and he seems a bit soft. Though that is not to say that he cannot be terrifying at times. I haven't formed a full opinion on him yet.
After getting to know Hodari a bit more... I cannot say that he is a bad tom. As much as it pains me to admit it, he does have quite the allure about him and I cannot help be get caught up in it. I still cant let him go for his womanizing ways however. I can't let myself fall for this tom... I just can't.
/// What have you done... after you promised you would not leave me on my own. Hodari how could you. What is going to happen to the coalition? Who is going to lead it now. I would if you had given me the notion that I could. I refuse to become a loner again because you were reckless and died.

/// Kifo ( Kitonika9 ) - She may be in the same coalition as I am, but I do not trust her. I worry every time I turn my back on her that I'll soon feel her claws raking down my spine. However, I feel it would be unfair to disregard her abilities. I respect her strength, and would choose her as a sparring partner and a battle companion any day.
I refuse to submit to your command as leader, but I cannot just leave the coalition. It saved my life when I was in need, and I have more loyalty than that. However, most of my loyalty was directed at Hodari directly. So watch your back Kifo... you may soon find my teeth in it once again. Just because you beat me for position as leader once, doesn't mean it will happen again. Maybe next time I'll have allies on my side.

// Wakali ( SnowRose9201 ) - Wakali is an arrogant and very self absorbed cheetah. His cocky and sarcastic attitude easily get on my nerves, but I've come to find he's not a terrible cheetah to be around. As much as I shouldn't, I find I can trust him... he did save my life when I almost found myself plunging into the Hunter's Hole after all... perhaps I should give him the benefit of the doubt, yeah?

RP example

Maradi growled as she faced Ubatili, the exiled traitor she had just been charged to kill. If she wanted to be a full member of the coalition, this was her task and now was her chance. She bared sharp fangs at him and snarled a couple of choice colourful words. Ubatili did the same, before hastily lunging at her. She dodged easily and glanced at Hodari a moment, before launching an attack of her own.

The battle raged on for a while, and they were both exhausted. They both began to circle again, and reared up at the same time. Ubatili raked his claws across Maradi's throat. She hissed in pain as the blood flowed out. She reacted quickly however, and lunged forward, biting into his neck. With a quick twist of her head, she snapped his neck, and let his lifeless body fall to the ground. She huffed as he fell with a thud, her various wounds oozing out her life blood. She stood over the dead body of her rival, and raised her head to look at the cheetahs who stood in awe.

Hodari seemed impressed by her skill, and invited her to be a full member, claiming she had proven her worth. She was also allowed to choose a new name, a symbol of starting a new life. She glanced at the dead body of Ubatili, and licked her blood covered jaws, smiling a sick and pleasured grin. "Shetani... Binti wa Shetani" she declared.
